July 29, 2020 -- With health and safety prioritized, Wichita State University’s food, retail and common spaces will adjust hours, layout and cleaning schedules as students return for the fall semester.

July 27, 2020 - Wichita State University student Kristen Bruce works as a software tester for Flint Hills Group, founded by Shocker alum Dave Cunningham. Over the past year, Bruce played an important role in Flint Hills Group’s work with McAlister, a fuel distributor and wholesaler in Wellington. McAlister needed to replace its software used to monitor fuel flow for billing. Bruce helped Flint Hills Group beat coming issues and move to a new system, while some of McAlister’s competition encountered problems.

May 11, 2020 -- In the midst of this pandemic, the Shocker Support Locker staff have found ways to continue offering their services to the Wichita State community.

May 5, 2020 -- Fellow seniors, there's no denying that our senior year ended differently than we planned. While it's okay to be sad and grieve the events that aren't happening, be sure to take time and reflect on the past four years and look toward the future as one door closes an another opens.

April 20, 2020 -- Aidan Jude – a spring 2020 Wichita State University graduate in electrical engineering, computer engineering and mathematics – will be embarking on a full-time career as a software engineer for Amazon web services in July.

March 31, 2020 -- As many Wichita State University students struggle with ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic, the WSU Foundation has created a new fund to help them overcome financial hardships and remain focused on their education.

March 31, 2020 -- I started my internship with Strategic Communications at Wichita State University on March 9, when COVID-19 was an epidemic. By the end of the week, it had turned into a full-blown pandemic. In the midst of it I, Matthew Ferguson, was just trying to start a job.

Feb. 5, 2020 -- Thanks to a generous gift from utility company Evergy, students in the College of Engineering at Wichita State University can learn about and conduct research on solar power technology, as well as how to protect an electric grid from short circuiting.

Dec. 18, 2019 -- Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design has named three Wichita State students as University Innovation Fellows. Jacob Burns, Molly Carlson and Savannah Redfern will join more than 2,000 Fellows at 267 institutions worldwide.

Dec. 6, 2019 -- It's that time of year where students caffeine to make it through, are sleep deprived and stressed to the max because of final exams. Cramming is the pits and so are finals.

Dec. 4, 2019 --  Master of Innovation Design students Kristyn Smith and Max Hinman designed MEBO with students in mind. The app lets students know of events and activities happening around campus. MEBO helps students stay aware of all the resources college has to offer. 

Dec. 2, 2019 -- I went across Wichita State asking students the same question: "What makes a great Shocker?" This video is a short compilation of their heartfelt responses.

Nov. 18, 2019 - Shocker Share a Meal is a texting service that alerts current WSU students via notification when there is leftover, free food available on campus. The service began in August of 2019 and helps reduce food waste and insecurity on campus.
